What is OpsMate AI?

Agentic Workflows

Overview

Agentic Workflows provides a dashboard to monitor and manage workflow executions. You can view running, completed, and failed task instances, manually trigger new workflow executions, and analyze workflow performance through statistics.

Please click on the Agentic Workflows menu on the left side to enter the workflow execution monitoring page.

Dashboard Statistics

The top of the page displays four statistics cards that provide a quick overview of workflow execution status:

Statistic

Description

Total Tasks

The total number of workflow executions across all statuses.

Running

The number of workflows currently in progress.

Completed

The number of workflows that have finished successfully.

Failed

The number of workflows that encountered errors during execution.

View Workflow Execution List

Below the statistics cards, the page displays a table of all workflow execution instances. Each row shows:

  • Workflow Name - The name of the workflow that was executed

  • Status - Current execution status (CREATED, RUNNING, COMPLETED, FAILED, PAUSED, REFLECTING, CANCELLED, or TIMED_OUT)

  • Trigger - How the workflow was triggered (MANUAL, EVENT, or SCHEDULED)

  • Summary - A brief description of the trigger data or input

  • Duration - How long the execution took

  • Created At - When the execution started

Filter Workflow Executions

You can filter the execution list using several methods:

Search by Keyword

Enter keywords in the search box at the top left and press Enter to filter executions by workflow name or summary content.

Filter by Date Range

  1. Click the date button in the upper right corner showing the current date range.

  1. Select a preset range (Last 7 Days, Last 14 Days, Last 30 Days, or This Month) from the left panel, or choose custom dates from the calendar.

  1. Close the date picker to apply the filter.

Filter by Status

Click on the Status column header filter icon to filter by execution status. Available options include: ALL, CREATED, RUNNING, COMPLETED, FAILED, PAUSED, REFLECTING, CANCELLED, and TIMED_OUT.

Filter by Trigger Type

Click on the Trigger column header filter icon to filter by how the workflow was triggered. Options include: ALL, MANUAL, EVENT, and SCHEDULED.

Trigger a Manual Workflow

To manually start a new workflow execution, click the New Manual Workflow button in the upper right corner. A two-step wizard will guide you through the process.

Step 1: Select Workflow Template

  1. Browse the list of available manual workflow templates.

  1. Each template shows its name, category tag, and description.

  1. Click on a template to select it. The selected template will be highlighted.

  1. Click Next to proceed to step 2.

Note: Only workflows with ACTIVE status and MANUAL trigger type are shown as available templates.

Step 2: Provide Input

In this step, you need to provide the context for the workflow execution:

  1. Plant Model (Required) - Select the plant model node that this workflow execution relates to. Click the Change or Select button to open the plant model selector.

  1. Voice Input (Optional) - Click the Voice button to record audio describing the issue. The audio will be transcribed automatically.

  1. Text Input (Required) - Type or dictate a description of the issue or task in the text area. For example: "Machine alarm on line 3".

  1. Click Continue to trigger the workflow execution.

After submission, you will be redirected to the execution detail page to monitor the workflow progress.

View Execution Details

To view the details of a workflow execution, click the View button on the right side of an execution row, or click anywhere on the row. You will be taken to the execution detail page.

Page Layout

The execution detail page is divided into several sections:

  • Header - Displays the workflow name, current status, trigger time, and associated plant model.

  • Agent Output Panel (Left) - Shows the results generated by each AI agent node in the workflow.

  • Chat Panel (Right) - Appears when the workflow requires human interaction, allowing you to communicate with the AI assistant.

Header Information

The header at the top of the page displays:

  • Workflow Name - The name of the workflow template that was executed.

  • Status Tag - A colored badge showing the current execution status (RUNNING, COMPLETED, FAILED, PAUSED, etc.).

  • Triggered Time - When the workflow execution was started.

  • Plant Model - The equipment or asset node associated with this execution, displayed with an icon and path.

  • Resolve Button - Appears when the workflow is waiting for human input. Click this button to mark the current task as resolved and continue the workflow.

Agent Output Cards

The left panel displays output cards generated by AI agent nodes as they complete their tasks. Cards appear progressively with a fade-in animation as each agent finishes processing. The following card types may be displayed:

Problem Definition Card

This card displays the structured problem analysis including:

  • What - Description of the problem or issue

  • Where - Location where the problem occurred

  • When - Time or conditions when the problem manifests

  • How Big - Scale or severity of the problem

  • Problem Statement - A concise summary of the problem

Root Causes Card

This card lists the top potential root causes identified by the AI, ranked by likelihood. Each root cause includes an explanation of why it may be contributing to the problem.

Knowledge Base Card

This card displays relevant information retrieved from your organization's knowledge base, organized into:

  • Manuals - Relevant manual sections and documentation

  • Drawings - Technical drawings or diagrams

  • Past Cases - Similar historical cases and their resolutions

Maintenance History Card

This card shows the maintenance history for the affected equipment, including past work orders, repairs, and scheduled maintenance activities.

Corrective Actions Card

This card provides recommended corrective actions to resolve the problem, including:

  • Step-by-step action items with priority levels
