Personal Center

Overview Introduction

The personal center provides tenant users with the ability to view current user information, set security configurations, manage personal files, and check the status of personal file ingestion. The current version offers the ability to view current user information and set security configurations, while the other two functions will be available in future versions.

When a tenant user clicks on the username in the top right corner, the system will display a menu. By clicking the "Personal Center" submenu, the user can enter their personal center page. This page has two tabs: Overview and Security. The Overview tab displays the user's personal information, while the Security tab allows the user to change their password and set up MFA. The details are as follows.

Overview Tab

On this tab page, the current user's username, email, and role are displayed. The information on this page is read-only, and the user cannot modify it.

Security Tab

On this tab page, there are two functions: changing the current user's password and enabling/disabling MFA.

Change Password

If a user wants to change their password, they need to enter the correct existing password, a new password, and confirm the new password. The new password must be an 8-character password starting with a letter and must include letters, numbers, and special symbols. After entering the above three values, clicking the Update Password button will update the current password, taking effect immediately the next time you log in.

If the user does not know their current password, they need to contact the administrator to reset the password.

Enable/Disable MFA

If the user wants to enable MFA, he can click the MFA switch to turn on the feature. Once the feature is activated, the system will display a QR code. The user needs to use Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator to scan this QR code to obtain a 6-digit code, then enter this code into the input box to the right of the QR code. After clicking the Save button, the MFA feature will be enabled. Subsequently, when the user logs in again, after entering their username and password, they will also need to enter the 6-digit code from the Authenticator to log in successfully.

If a user wants to disable the MFA feature, he can click the MFA switch to turn it off. After clicking the button, the system will pop up a window asking the user to enter the 6-digit code from the Authenticator to ensure that the operation is being performed by the current user. After entering the code, the user can click the Verify button to disable the feature.

After disabling this feature, users must also delete the corresponding App entry in the Authenticator to ensure that the next time the MFA feature is enabled, using the Authenticator to scan the QR code will successfully bind and obtain the 6-digit code.
