  1. A new chat session will be created and you can begin typing your questions in the input area at the bottom of the screen.

  1. The Factory Dialogue will be automatically saved and appear in your Factory Dialogue history.

You can associate your Factory Dialogue with a specific equipment or location in your plant model to get more contextual responses:

  1. Click on the Plant Model selector at the top of the chat area.

  1. Your speech will be automatically transcribed to text and inserted into the input field.

  1. Review the transcribed text, make any necessary edits, then send the message.

View AI Responses

After sending a message, the AI agent will generate a response that appears in the chat area. The response may include:

  • Text explanations - Detailed answers to your questions in natural language

  • Formatted content - Responses may include bullet points, numbered lists, and code blocks for clarity

  • Thinking process - Some responses may show the AI's reasoning process in an expandable section

The AI generates responses in real-time, and you will see the text appear progressively as it is being generated.

View Source References

When the AI agent uses knowledge from your organization's knowledge base, it will display source references:

  • Source Cards - Clickable cards showing the documents or knowledge items referenced in the response

  • File Previews - For referenced documents (PDF, Office files, images, videos), you can click to preview the original content

These source references help you verify the information and explore the underlying documentation.

View Factory Dialogue History Sidebar

The Factory Dialogue history sidebar on the left side of the screen allows you to manage your past Factory Dialogues:

  1. All your previous Factory Dialogues are listed in the sidebar, sorted by most recent.

  1. Use the Search field at the top to find specific Factory Dialogues by keywords.

  1. Click on any Factory Dialogue in the list to load and continue that Factory Dialogue.

  1. Scroll down to load more Factory Dialogues (the list uses infinite scrolling).
